Engaging with Programmers

ADA has created American Dance Recon, a 4-1/2 day symposium designed to introduce American dance to international presenters and colleagues who rarely get to see American dance by immersing them into the fabric of leading American dance cities. Recon can be “reconnaissance” or “reconnection.” Either way, the experience deepens the programmers’ understanding and access to American dance.  You can read more about ADR/NYC 2012, ADR/NYC 2013, and ADR/SF 2013 in our blog.  Plans for a 2014 edition in two two three U.S. cities are in the works.
