Carolelinda Dickey, Co-Director


Carolelinda has programmed for the Internationale Tanzmesse in Düsseldorf, Germany, for 15 years. In that capacity, she has personally engaged with artists, programmers and national cultural institutes (NCIs) from over 40 countries. Prior to the Tanzmesse, she was executive director of the Pittsburgh Dance Council, where she programmed national and international dance and contemporary theater artists for 12 years.

Andrea Snyder, Co-Director

AndreaAndrea has developed and coordinated an American delegation of artists, presenters, and others for international gatherings for over 10 years. She served as executive director of Dance/USA for 11 years, leading a period of tremendous growth for the dance field, including expanding membership to international organizations, and six years as National Endowment for the Arts Dance Program Assistant Director.

Together they launched American Dance Abroad (ADA), a project of Performing Arts Strategies, in 2011. This followed the 2009 release of their report, Dance America: An International Strategy to Export American Dance, funded by the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation.

Shiloh Hodges, Program Coordinator

Shiloh joined American Dance Abroad in 2013.  Originally from Florida, Shiloh earned her BFA in dance with honors from Florida State University. In her time there, she had the opportunity to study abroad in France and travel through Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, which sparked her interest in international affairs. Her article “Working Internationally: More Than Just Touring With a Passport” was published on Dance/USA’s From The Green Room e-journal in July 2014.

Bonnie Gloris, Global Communications Coordinator

Bonnie Gloris is an arts administrator, visual artist, and designer, originally from Albany, NY. She earned a BFA from Parsons School of Design (NYC) and recently completed the Master of Arts Management program at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA). Bonnie has worked in several arts administration capacities, including experience in a commercial gallery, non-profit arts spaces, a festival, and artist studios. She is thrilled to have recently joined the team at American Dance Abroad.
