SOLO Contemporary Dance Festival will be held for the fifth time at CerModern between 26-28 August with the participation of 30 national and international dancers to greet the audience in Ankara at CerModern’s open-air stage during a three days adventure of physical intellectuality.

The festival will provide an overall view of the latest trends in the solo-dance-scene. As participants in the festival, choreographers and dancers from around the world, are requested to perform a solo piece which is new, original, imaginative, unique and which displays unusual achievement (5-20 min.). The respected selection committee will assess choreographic and dance skills as well as musicality, interpretation and performance.
The festival is a three-day event with expected participation of 30 Turkish and international dancers. In addition to individual representations, workshops, interviews, concerts and parties will be held.
SOLO Contemporary Dance Festival is led by CerModern, a modern art center located at the center of Ankara.
