After a year of isolation and distancing, the importance of face-to-face networking is ever more important. When possible, American Dance Abroad will once again assist artistic directors, choreographers, administrators, and artist representatives/agents with access to marketplaces, international festivals, conferences, or other platforms for networking. Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM): Australia’s leading, internationally focused industry event for contemporary performing arts. – Melbourne, Australia.
China Shanghai International Arts Festival Performing Arts Fair (ChinaSPAF): The performing arts portion of the month-long China Shanghai International Arts Festival. – Shanghai, China.
CINARS Biennale: International networking marketplace with showcases in dance, music, theatre, multidisciplinary arts and circus, occurring every two years in Québec. – Montreal, Canada.
Czech Dance Platform: Organized by the Tanec Praha civic association, presenting a selection of the most important works of contemporary dance and movement theatre in the past year. – Prague, Czech Republic.
ICE HOT: Nordic Dance Platform that aims to present Nordic contemporary dance at its best. Next date/location to be announced.
International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA): Twice a year, ISPA Congresses bring together performing arts leaders to discover the next great idea, strengthen relationships, and rejuvenate their passion for the arts.
